RIP Luther
This is a very sad day and my heart weighs very heavy right now. The great Luther Vandross has passed away. Thankfully, the world will have all the great music he left behind, though we'll regret not hearing anything new.
Even though I didn't mention him in my previous post, he'll "always and forever" be one of my all time music favorites.

I am just finding this out by reading your blog, Mel. This is sad, sad news. I agree he was one of our more amazing voices. Just hearing his voice could make me cry! What a talent. I'm sorry to hear he passed. But, also, I hope he has found some peace. I know that he was struggling daily.
RIP LUTHER VANDROSS!
Thanks for the kind words Mo. He was an incredible talent. I'm sure he's in a much better place singing with the angels right about now.
